Report: Sprint's board wants new CEO by Dec.
We reported on whispers that Sprint's investors were unhappy with CEO Gary Forsee's performance and were calling for his ouster--now, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal, the carrier's board of directors has quietly begun its search for a new chief. The report claims that the board wants to announce a new CEO by early December. The newspaper's sources claim that the likely candidates will come from outside of Sprint Nextel and certain industry veterans have already been approached for the job. It's sad that one whinny shareholder who is scared of progress can tilt a company so much that it could change it's direction and forgo a technological advance that will change the way society interacts with information.
Innovation will certainly be lost become some narrow minded short sighted investor isn't going to turn a buck today.
Gary stick to your guns!!
what are you talking about...Forsee was ruining the company, it's about time someone figured out he was the problem...Get a clue..Too bad Sprint bought Nextel.. Nextel was an excellent company...I hate Sprint
