Report: Virgin Mobile best prepaid customer service

According to a report from J.D. Powers & Associates, Virgin Mobile USA has the best overall customer satisfaction among prepaid mobile phone service providers. This marks the second year that Virgin Mobile USA has come out on top (as well as the second year that the report has come out). Prepaid customers ranked call quality (24 percent) as the most important factor for customer satisfaction, while company image (19 percent), cost of service (17 percent), account management (15 percent), initial activation (11 percent), service plan options (8 percent) and customer service (6 percent). On a 1,000 point scale the prepaid industry has achieved 727 points of satisfaction, which includes a ten point raise from last year.

Virgin mobile is a scam.... They have taken money out of Bank account, and never returned my money. I had my set up to top up through my bank card. They charged me over $500.00 in 4 days. I only spend $20.00 every 2 wks to top up. That is all I have evr needed, it was meant to be a emergency line when I was in my car. They have even ripped me off from buying top up cards and than saying, they don't know where my minutes went. There representatives are of no help. They have no answers and can not explain anything. Virgin mobile blames the customer for things the customer couldn't of possibly done. They do not even try to correct there mistakes. I am now out of almost $600.00 because of this company. I know I am not the only person going through non sense with this company. It is amazing to me how big companies get away with ripping people off and do not have to explain them selves to anyone. The common person would go to jail for stealing $600.00. So when I see an article that states Virgin mobile has the best prepaid customer service, it makes me very mad and disappointed it our society. I guess little people have no control, in these corporations eyes. The world is a messed up place.

I agree. But, when I recently bought a Tracfone(and take note that I never used it to call anyone yet) I was stolen 2 units. 1 whole point for selecting voice mail(Which I thought I had to set up), and 1(0.5 x 2) for trying to access google.com and pressing that globe button(I was unaware that the button would access the internet). So that's 2 points that was stolen because of accidents and vague instructions. At least Virgin Mobile lets you have the real internet and (I'm pretty sure) USB connection so you can actually deal with your media. I hate the way Tracfone always promotes their stupid website to buy wallpapers and tones...
