Rumor Mill: BlackBerry Storm 2 headed to AT&T?
AT&T Mobility may be launching a version of Research In Motion's BlackBerry Storm 2, according to a Boy Genius Report blog post.
The post included what appear to be newly leaked specs for the device, as well as confirmation from unnamed sources that AT&T will offer the gadget. An AT&T spokeswoman declined to comment on the report, noting that the carrier does not discuss its device plans.
If true, the news would be notable since Verizon Wireless currently has an exclusive deal for the original Storm, introduced late last year. Both RIM and Verizon have confirmed they are gearing up to release a new version of the touchscreen BlackBerry.
According to the BGR post, the Storm 2 will support both EV-DO Rev. A and quad-band GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA in the 2100 MHz band. The phone also is expected to have WiFi and a 3.2-megapixel camera.

I'm waiting for the BlackBerry Storm2 to come out with AT&T. Previously, I bought the Apple I Phone but got rid of it quickly due to support difficult via Apple. Never got that phone running properly here in Arizona. Hopefully the BlackBerry has an environmental temperature specification higher than 95deg F (as that is the specification on the I Phones). It does get hotter than 95 deg F in AZ. Typically, Motorola Phones often have 140 deg F operating Ambient. When the BB Storm 2 comes out with AT&T Wireless, hopefully it will have a higher specification than the i phone.
