Rumor Mill: Hon Hai to develop iPhone

It pains me to keep writing these iPhone articles, but how can I not? A Chinese newspaper called The Commercial Times reported yesterday that Taiwan-based manufacturer Hon Hai has inked a deal with Apple to make the phantom iPhone. The report claimed Apple ordered 12 million handsets from Hon Hai, also known as Foxconn, in preparation for an early 2007 launch. The iPhone, of course, is a mythical phone that will magically combine iPod functionality with your everyday mobile phone.
