Sony Ericsson was approached by Google about being the manufacturer of the Nexus One, the Android-powered smartphone Google is selling in its own online store, but declined the opportunity. Bert Nordberg, the handset maker's CEO, confirmed the decision to the Swedish publication Sydsvenskan.
