Sony Ericsson unveils two new phones

Sony Ericsson unveiled two new handsets ahead of Mobile World Congress, including a new camera phone and Walkman phone.

The flashier of the pair is the quad-band HSDPA C903 Cyber-shot camera phone. The handset boasts a 5-megapixel camera with a 16x digital zoom, auto-focus and a smattering of camera-specific functions including face detection and an image and video stabilizer. The phone is expected to ship in the second quarter.

The handset maker also revealed a new Walkman phone, the W395, a low-to-mid-tier offering that features quad-band GSM/EDGE data and stereo speakers. The phone has a 1GB memory card, 2-megapixel camera and will ship sometime later in the first quarter.

There was no immediate word on pricing information or carrier deals, though the C903 is rumored to land at AT&T Mobility.
