FierceWireless editor-in-chief Sue Marek sat down with Qualcomm EVP and Group President Len Lauer to talk to the former COO and president of Sprint about his new post and vision for the company. Lauer also noted that Verizon Wireless' open access plans may have an impact on BREW, but that we shouldn't read too much into that open access announcement. Lauer said that he believes that few consumers will actually take advantage of the "open" network option and will instead continue to purchase their content and their devices through Verizon.
