SPOTLIGHT: Qwest moves to profit

Qwest pulled in a net profit of $194 million or eight cents a share, up from a loss of $144 million a year earlier. Revenue slipped by 0.5 percent to $3.49 billion. The results were nearly spot on analysts' expectations, which were for profit of seven cents a share on a revenue of $3.5 billion. Article (WSJ sub. req.)
