Sprint drops price of new Instinct

Sprint is debuting its iPhone-killer smartphone, the new Samsung Instinct, at a cheaper price than previously announced to counteract AT&T's plan to subsidize the 3G version of the iPhone. Sprint announced the Instinct will cost $130 with a $100 rebate and a two-year contract instead of $200 it announced earlier this month. The Instinct will go on sale tomorrow. AT&T is subsidizing the iPhone 3G for $200 for the 8GB version.

There may be a cost difference between the phones but the pricing plans will be about the same. Sprint customers who purchase the Instinct must also purchase a pricing plan offering unlimited data. Those plans start at $70 per month. AT&T requires a voice plan for about $40 and a minimum $30-per month data plan, up from $20 for the original iPhone.

I finally got my hands on one of those babies. I am quite impressed with this little gadget. It's a keeper for me. The touch keyboard was easy to use. The internet is a little fuzzy and needs time to get to know the Instinct. (I guess!) Music plays great but it sounds better on my IC902. Setting up my e-mail account was flawless. Making a phone call was easy. No difficulty in that department. The Sprint media manager made my jaw drop to the ground after it searched my computer for content. (download the manager first) I selected the content I wanted to send to my phone and connected the data or transfer cable and hit transfer - then in a matter of minutes I was listening to or watching my selections. Now that is what I call the "Now" network. This device is definately a winner for all!!!

I just called the Sprint Stores in Las Vegas and they told me the phone sells for $450! Tell me where I can get it for under $250. Why should I pay $450 when everywhere I read it sells for $199? Even the Fradulent INSTINCT WEBSITE advertises the phone sells for $199! HELP !!!
My email adderss is arlene.regos@yahoo.com
