Sprint launches HTC's Mogul

Tools

Sprint officially debuted the successor to its PPC-6700 device, the Mogul by HTC. The Mogul sports the same slide-out QWERTY keyboard, large touch-screen and five-way navigation button. The carrier says the Mogul offers 20 percent more battery life that its predecessor, has 256MB of internal memory and a microSD slot. The phone is also thinner (.73 inches). The Mogul is now available online and through business sales channels and will be in retail stores nationwide by mid-July. Sprint plans on offering an over-the-air update post-launch that will give Mogul users access to the Sprint Music Store.
