Sprint launches HTC Touch Pro
Sprint Nextel launched its top-of-the-line handset for the holiday shopping season Friday, the HTC Touch Pro, a slightly souped-up version of the HTC Touch Diamond that is geared to the enterprise market.
The CDMA EV-Do Rev. A phone uses TouchFLO 3D user interface and has a five-row slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The phone runs on Windows Mobile 6.1, has a 3.2 megapixel camera and expandable storage capabilities of up to 16GB in a microSD slot, which comes with a 1GB card.
The WiFi and GPS-enabled phone is priced at $299.99 with a two-year service contract, after a $100 mail-in-rebate and a $25-or-higher data add-on or Simply Everything plan with data.
