Sprint's ex-CEO Forsee made $21.4M in 2007

Tools

Sprint's former chairman and CEO Gary Forsee's compensation during 2007 was valued at $21.8 million, which marks a 47 percent increase from the previous year. Last year was a difficult year for Sprint since its subscriber base dropped along with its profits, which led to Forsee's resignation in October. According to an SEC filing, Sprint paid Forsee $1.5 million in salary, $1.5 million in non-equity incentive payments, $59,805 in above-market earnings on deferred compensation and $8.3 million in other compensation.

HALF THAT AMOUNT. JMONDAK@MSN.COM

He should be ashamed. That's just criminal.

Sprint Nextel is, quite literally, the worst of the worst:

Essentially, Gary Forsee was very richly rewarded for performing his job in a manner that did not qualify him to stay.

If challenged to do so, I could ruin Sprint in half the time it took Gary. Could I get $80,000,000.00?

Actually, the Kansas City reports today Gary Forsee received $40 million in 2007, including his outlandish severance pay.
