Syniverse buys BSG Wireless for $290M cash

Syniverse Technologies has agreed to buy the wireless clearing and financial settlement business of BSG for about $290 million in cash. The acquisition will lead to the combination of Syniverse's product suite with BSG's GSM data clearing expertise and European, Middle Eastern and Asian contacts. BSG counts 180 mobile operators among its clients. Nearly a year ago, Syniverse purchased APAC-based IHT for $45 million.
