Syniverse to buy ITHL for $45M

Syniverse Technologies announced its intent to buy APAC-based Interactive Technology Holdings Limited (ITHL) in a deal valued at $45 million. Syniverse said the deal will expand its footprint in APAC while adding a complementary customer base and in-region customer support. ITHL has nine offices in the region, including ones in Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan. Syniverse said the $45 million price tag includes up to $7 million in cash from earn-out payments. The company said the acquisition will increase its profit figures for 2006.
