AT&T inks reseller deal with Costco

Tools

AT&T has inked a deal with Costco that allows the wholesaler to sell AT&T wireless services at about 370 stores nationwide. The services will be sold on the store premises by third-party provider Wireless Advocates. AT&T expects the new reseller agreement will reach more than 35 million Costco shoppers across the U.S.

The news follows an announcement from Best Buy and Carphone Warehouse yesterday: the two companies decided to open 1,000 Best Buy Mobile stores across the U.S. after a successful trial period. The companies opened 13 Best Buy Mobile stores in New York City as a trial run.
