The demand for RAZR just doesn't stop

Motorola said it is still having trouble meeting demand for the ever popular RAZR handset. Ron Garriques, president of Motorola's Mobile Devices Division, told an audience at a recent Merrill Lynch conference that he expects sales of the RAZR to continue to grow, driven partly by the introduction of new colors and the launch of a Vodafone-branded RAZR in the second half. While analysts worry that Motorola is putting most of its eggs in the RAZR basket, the vendor believes RAZR will get an opportunity to be part of the replacement cycle when the model supports HSDPA and perhaps TD-SCDMA.
