AT&T's de la Vega: everything will be connected

AT&T Mobility CEO Ralph de la Vega has outlined a vision for the future of wireless communication, and in it, everything is connected. In an interview with Telephony, de la Vega said that within the next 15 years, almost every consumer electronics device will somehow be wirelessly connected to a network or to other devices. He especially focused on wirelessly connecting devices to TVs and TVs to networks. He also pointed to Apple's App Store as an example of the future of the wireless environment in the here-and-now.
