UTStarcom CTO resigns for post at China Mobile

UTStarcom's CTO and EVP Bill Huang has resigned from his position to take a new senior level position at China Mobile, effective December 31. For the interim, Pat Chan, UTStarcom's SVP of the network solutions business unit, will act as CTO. Huang has been with UTStarcom since 1994, but his departure could mean good things for the company since he'll have a high level position at the largest mobile carrier in the world.
