Verizon Wireless expects double digit rev growth

Verizon Wireless said it expects double digit annual revenue growth for the next few years. Verizon CFO Doreen Toben made the comments during an investor call. Toben also reviewed some key financial metrics for the carrier: During 2007 data revenue increased 65 percent over the year before, while retail data ARPU climbed 44 percent. At the end of 2007, 55 percent of Verizon Wireless' retail base had broadband capable devices and there was a 146 percent increase in text messages.
