Verizon Wireless sweetens pot for Freedom plan

Tools

AT&T recently revamped its Unity calling plans to drive more subscribers to the bundled offerings, and it looks like Verizon Wireless could be having similar trouble getting customers to sign up: Current Verizon subscribers who are not on a Freedom calling plan will receive a one-time credit of $25 on a future
bill if they enroll in the single bill offering by July 29. Customers with a qualifying
Verizon Freedom calling plan--or with combinations of calling, High Speed
Internet and DIRECTV from Verizon--can add single bill integrated
billing and save between $4.99 to $9.99 every month for a year, according to the carrier.
