Verizon Wireless to release device specs March 19

Tools

Following reports that Apple could delay the launch of its iPhone software development kit for up to three weeks, Verizon Wireless announced that Version 1.0 of the device specs for its "Any Device, Any App" initiative will still launch at the carrier's developer conference on March 19. The conference will take place in New York City and aims to enable both incumbent device makers and mobile developers as well as new entrepreneurs looking to design devices for Verizon Wireless' future open access network.
