Virgin Mobile USA: Penny texts, now penny msgs

Last year Virgin Mobile USA offered an SMS bucket plan that came out to a penny per text, now the MVNO is extending that plan to include all forms of messages, including email, IM, pictures and SMS. The new plan is part of a bundle of new options for Virgin subscribers that will launch April 10 in three pricing plans:

• $1.99 per month for 50 messages sent and received
• $4.99 per month for 200 messages sent and received
• $9.99 per month for 1,000 messages sent and received
