YouGov survey gives Verizon top marks
Verizon Wireless received top marks for quality, value and customer satisfaction in YouGov's Brand Index survey of the Tier 1 U.S. wireless carriers. The survey, which looks at how the various carriers' brands are viewed, was conducted every week day over the past 12 months and included 5,000 Americans from an online panel of 1.5 million. Survey respondents were asked to rate each of the carriers on a scale of 100 down to -100 for each of the three categories. In each, Verizon was on top, followed by AT&T Mobility, T-Mobile USA and Sprint Nextel. Article, chart

Not that I always try to be negative, but I find this graph a bit odd, in that T-Mob and Sprint are the 2 cheapest of the national carriers, but yet they are both dinged for value. I'd like to see an explanation as to how it can be reported, just on sheer cost.
I'm sure Dan Hesse has these printed out on small squares on a brown roll in his private office.
Value? The survey takers must be in legacy plans. Verizon and ATT are the two most expensive carriers.
T-Mo has no where near the network build out as its GSM buddy AT&T. Also, still lacks in device choices as AT&T gets the latest and greatest.
Sprint has not where near the network build out as its CDMA buddy Verizon. Same thing on the handsets, but that gap is closing.
While Sprint may be getting handsets, they aren't building out new markets.
In my opinion, T-Mob, AT&T and Verizon have the handset arena under wraps.
Very funny article, although T-Mob doesn't have the best phone selection or the biggest GSM monopoly. How come they were rated #1 in customer service by JD Powers like 9 times in a 10 year span. Seems funny Verizon has good customer service thats foolish. Verizon and AT&T have the highest prices handsets. Verizon doesn't open their network for any fun and AT&T is just straight unethical how the hell do you buy an IPhone and can't insure it????
