Google is pushing its Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean software update to Nexus-branded devices including Samsung Electronics' Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 10.
Google CEO Larry Page said the company is continuously working to keep all of its Android hardware partners happy, and that the search giant will continue to innovate around its mobile platform. However, Page stopped short of saying that the company will produce a Nexus-branded device through Motorola Mobility, the Android OEM it acquired earlier this year.
LG Electronics and Google officially announced the Nexus 4, the LG-made device that is the latest in Google's series of "lead" Nexus-branded gadgets showcasing the newest Android software. Google also unveiled the Nexus 10 tablet as well as an update to the original Nexus 7.
