Motorola Motofone F3

The Motorola Motofone F3 is the first model in the new SCPL ("scalpel") line of phones. The Motofone is a low cost handset released initially in India in late 2006. Motorola expects the phone to cost around $50 when it hits the U.S. (and that's prior to any carrier subsidies!).

The Motofone F3 is also notable for its Linux-based operating system and an EPD (electronic paper) screen. Motorola calls the monochrome, high-contrast display "ClearVision."
