Amp'd Mobile, an MVNO that users Verizon's network, "soft launched" last week and plans a full roll out later this month. The service is currently only available with one phone, the Kyocera Jet. The Jet costs $129 and has a VGA camera, a miniSD slot and, of course, supports EV-DO. Amp'd plans to add two additional phones to its offering. Amp'd has also been in the news after signing a series of deals with content providers like MTV to expand streaming content offerings for its subscribers. Article
