Ansca teams with Inneractive to expand Corona SDK monetization options

Mobile development firm Ansca Mobile is teaming with mobile ad mediation provider Inneractive to introduce new monetization options for mobile developers leveraging Ansca's Corona SDK framework to build their applications.

The Ansca/Inneractive deal gives developers access to more than 100 mobile advertising networks across 200 countries. The Inneractive platform automatically inserts the most appropriate ad into each app, targeting users in real time according to their location. The firm touts 90 percent fill rates and eCPMs four times greater than the industry average. Developers also can monitor their revenue growth via the Inneractive dashboard, which collects data on each app's impressions, fill-rate, CTR and eCPM.

The Corona SDK (available for download here) enables developers to build cross-platform apps encompassing operating systems including Apple's (NASDAQ:AAPL) iOS and Google's (NASDAQ:GOOG) Android. The framework simplifies tasks like animating objects in OpenGL or creating user-interface widgets to just one line of code, with all changes immediately viewable in the Corona Simulator to help abbreviate build times. According to Ansca Mobile, consumers have downloaded more than 30 million apps created with the SDK in 2011 alone.

The newest version of the Corona SDK, build 2011.704, brings support for Amazon.com's new Kindle Fire tablet and Barnes & Noble's Nook Color e-reader. Also new: A Storyboard API for scene management and transitions as well as an improved Mac OS X simulator enabling developers to see and text native UI elements.
