AppsGeyser rolls out Android app monetization program

Mobile software development platform AppsGeyser is rolling out new monetization tools designed to reward Android developers who build popular apps. AppsGeyser developers can apply to enter the Monetize program only after their app reaches a minimum of 100 downloads; developers can then add code from the mobile advertising network of their choice, retaining 100 percent of all revenues, or leverage the designated banner space to promote their other apps. AppsGeyser will share the banner space with developers on a 50/50 basis, with AppsGeyser ads appearing the other half of the time.

Developers have built roughly 100,000 Android apps via AppsGeyser since the platform launched in February 2011. The firm reports AppsGeyser apps have now topped the 13 million milestone, with an average of 1.2 million daily active users.
