AT&T device roadmap leaks

While Friday's iPhone 3G debut is grabbing most of the attention, AT&T is also planning to introduce a series of new Windows Mobile smartphones throughout the remainder of 2008. According to Gear Diary, which scored a copy of AT&T's Windows Mobile device roadmap, the operator will release the Pantech Duo II, which boasts Windows Mobile 6.1 and a hybrid keyboard/keypad interface--first-generation Pantech Duo owners can also expect a WinMo 6.1 upgrade in October, with upgrades planned for the Samsung Blackjack 2, AT&T Tilt and Motorola Q9H expected later this month. Two other forthcoming AT&T devices running on Windows Mobile 6.1: The Samsung Blackjack 3 and the AT&T Tilt 2. During the third quarter the operator will also release Research In Motion's BlackBerry Curve 8320, BIS 2.5 and BlackBerry Bold, with the BlackBerry OS version 4.5 also expected to drop. Another device rumored to join the AT&T portfolio: The Samsung Omnia.
