Wireless network operators will focus on rolling out 3G networks and improving infrastructure as MVNOs take care of some of the nitty-gritty details of dealing with customers. inCode predicts that at least one major operator will abandon its retail business and simply become a wholesaler. I doubt this will happen in 2006, but it is an interesting thought.
