Cingular has launched a new on-demand video service called, unimaginatively, Cingular Video. The service provides clips from Fox News, NBC, Cartoon Network and others. It is similar to Verizon's V-Cast service. Cingular Video is free for subscribers to Cingular's unlimited $20-per-month 3G data plan. Clips from HBO are available for an extra $5 per month.
