EA Senior VP Mitch Lasky recently announced that EA Mobile plans to go off deck and sell titles direct to consumers. Lasky demoed a desktop application that lets you purchase an app and drag it onto your phone. This news is significant, but it is hardly unexpected; the days of near-complete carrier control over content deliver are numbered.
