Flurry intros mobile app analytics service

Mobile application development services provider Flurry announced the beta launch of Flurry Analytics, a free, cross-platform service promising developers detailed data on how, when, where and by whom their applications are employed. Flurry Analytics provides real-time information on consumer usage patterns, giving developers insight into application behaviors and identifying technical problems and revenue opportunities--the service offers free analysis of iPhone and Android applications as well as all apps running on the Java ME platform, and according to Flurry, it demands minimal engineering integration as well as a negligible amount of app space. The firm adds it will incorporate related value-added services and revenue-generating opportunities in the months ahead, but maintains it will continue offering Flurry Analytics free to developers regardless of subsequent moves.
