Motorola ROKR E1: The iTunes phone

The Motorola ROKR E1 iTunes phone is finally out and available exclusively on Cingular. Initial reactions to the much-hyped phone are mixed, and that's being generous. The phone incorporates a solid MP3 player, despite lacking the trademark iPod clickwheel. Unfortunately, the phone incorporates rather aggressive DRM; it will only store 100 songs regardless of how much space is left on the flash card. Reportedly, Apple added this requirement to prevent the phone from cutting into its iPod Shuffle sales. Specs | Review | Commentary
