Netbiscuits cooks up Mobile Web Developer Challenge

Mobile web software platform provider Netbiscuits announced it will launch its first Mobile Web Developer Challenge in conjunction with technology research and consulting firm Yankee Group's upcoming Mobile Internet World conference. According to Netbiscuits--lead sponsor of the MIW Developers Summit--participants in the developer contest must submit their mobile websites, portals, communities, games, download centers, video channels, shops, campaigns or landing pages no later than 11:59 PT on October 15. All entries must be created via Netbiscuits' web-based mobile Internet and applications development platform, and will be judged by experts from Yahoo, eBay, Cisco and Nokia according to design, fluidity, content and execution. The six top Mobile Web Developer Challenge finalists will share prizes worth more than $40,000, including six month developer accounts. For additional information, click here. Netbiscuits will also host a series of mobile web development best practice workshops at the conference, which takes place October 21-23 in Boston.
