Nokia's sporty new 5500 is a tri-band GPRS/EDGE S60 phone with some cool features. It seems Nokia has the runner in mind: the 5500 has an accelerometer that can be used as a pedometer or as a game controller, a flashlight and an FM radio. The whole device is packed in a ruggedized case and offer text-to-speech support so you don't have to look at the screen to know who's calling. The device is expected to retail in Europe for about €300. U.S. pricing and availability is not yet known. Blog
