Palm unveils Treo 700p

Palm has (finally) announced the Treo 700p, the Palm OS counterpart to Palm's Windows-powered 700w. The 700p is a CDMA/EVDO with 128MB of memory, a 1.3-MP camera and an SD slot. It runs Palm OS 5.4.9 and has a 320 x 320 screen (same resolution as the 650 and better than the 700w). The announcement of the 700p comes as no great surprise. Palm has been adamant about its support for Palm OS and its ecosystem. The new Treo will be available with Sprint and Verizon Wireless in a few months. Release
