Palm warns Linux-based OS may be further delayed

In its latest FEC filing, Palm Inc. is warning investors that PalmSource (a subsidy of Japan's Access Co.) has missed development milestones for the new Linux-based Palm OS. The new OS was first announced in February after Access acquired PalmSource and decided to abandon Palm OS 6 (Cobalt) in favor of a new codebase. Long-time Palm developers will be forgiven if they believe this upgrade is cursed. Article
