Qualcomm Developer Network portal goes live

Qualcomm announced the launch of its Qualcomm Developer Network web portal, promising tools and resources to help programmers enhance and differentiate their apps by leveraging the company's chipsets. According to Qualcomm, QDevNet will offer access to go-to-market channels enabled via its operator and manufacturer partnerships as well as info on the firm's GPUs, technical documents and tools, demos and sample apps, blogs and technical forums, and features spotlighting how other third-party developers have worked with the Qualcomm graphics team to optimize their games on its chips. "We want to help you leverage our hardware accelerators and hook into our advanced features so applications can be smarter, better performing, more context aware and run at lower power," writes Qualcomm CDMA Technologies senior director of software strategy and business development Liat Ben-Zur on the OnQ Blog.
