Expect an explosion of (relatively) easy-to-use development tools in the second half 2006. PC-based Rapid Application Development (RAD) tools like Visual Basic and Borland's Delphi will feature new mobile-centric editions. There is also room for new mobile exclusive development platforms, especially ones that can cross-compile code to run on several different mobile platforms.
