I had a chance to try out the Sony Ericsson W600 Walkman phone for a weekend. It's a nice little swivel phone with a great 1.3-MP camera (noticeably improved over the S710) and a bright 220x176 LCD screen. The music features are solid, as would be expected for a Walkman phone, and the J2ME games tested were quick and smooth. Sony Ericsson (thankfully) offers additional snap-on faceplates if you're not a big fan of orange. The W600 includes a generous 256MB of internal memory but is conspicuously lacking support for any sort of external memory. I have to wonder if Sony Ericsson intentionally omitted this feature to further differentiate the W600 from the W800, which includes a Memory Stick Duo slot. Specs/Pictures
