RIM introduces BlackBerry Developer's Blog

Research In Motion launched the BlackBerry Developer's Blog, promising to respond to programmer questions and comments as well as asking coders to share their experiences and insights with the rest of the BlackBerry development community. According to RIM, BlackBerry Developer's Blog will concentrate on three distinct areas:

  • Technical Discussion and Insights (Including best practices for BlackBerry development, code snippets, and general technical data)
  • Market Insight (Including RIM's perspective on trends and opportunities in mobile development)
  • Developer Engagement (Including information on forthcoming events spotlighting regional and local developer communities)

So far, RIM is posting blog entries on an almost daily basis, with recent posts dedicated to subjects including embedded media content and "hidden gems" in the BlackBerry API.
