3 UK targets small firms for push email services

3 UK will be offering its push email service in the UK for small office/home office customers and SMEs, a statement from the company said.
According to the statement, the new service is powered by the Always-On Mail mobile email platform from SEVEN Networks, providing secure real-time access to emails, attachments, calendar and contact information.
The company said the service supported Exchange email and did not require system integration.
In addition, 3 UK revealed that two new handsets would be introduced during the next two months, including the Nokia E61 smartphone using the Symbian software platform and the Windows-based QTEK 9000.
