ABI Research forecasts that the in-building wireless market will more than double in revenue by 2020, with the market expected to top $9 billion (€8.3 billion) by 2020. The company predicts that North American activity will drive the overall market, with Europe and Asia-Pacific regions working to pick up the pace during 2016. Sports venues, transportation and healthcare will continue to be the verticals that attract the most investment in distributed antenna systems (DAS), with shopping malls and hospitality coming in a close second place. The Asia-Pacific region today accounts for one fifth of the total market, but ABI expects it to be the fastest-growing region and to represent almost one third of the market by 2020. Release
