Accenture has appointed Gilles Pélisson as a director, serving on the audit committee of the company’s board.
The appointment takes Accenture’s board to 13 directors, 11 of which are external and independent. Executive chairman William Green and CEO Pierre Nanterme are the board’s only internal directors, the company said.
Pélisson most recently served as chairman and CEO of Accor SA, the Paris-based global hotel group. His CV also covers spells with Accor in the US and Asia Pacific, the posts of chief executive and chairman of the Disneyland Paris resort, and the same roles at Bouygues Telecom.
