Irish software and services firm Aepona has purchased billing and settlement company Valista.
With the purchase, Valista will operate under the Aepona brand and offer a complete solution for the “network as a service” (NaaS) business model that telcos worldwide are now embracing.
According to the company, the new Aepona will offer telcos an end-to-end solution for the NaaS model, including open APIs toward core network capabilities, third-party relationship management, monetization, billing mediation and settlement, and service lifecycle management.
Following the acquisition, Aepona’s client list now includes some of the world’s largest mobile and broadband operators in North America, EMEA and Asia.
