Alcatel-Lucent said its mobile interactive TV solution had been selected by Telstra to deliver its first fully interactive mobile TV service in Australia.
Telstra Mobile FOXTEL is a brand new rich media experience by Telstra that encompasses 33 channels in packages across 5 genres, Alcatel-Lucent said in a statement.
The convergent capabilities of Mobile TV will allow FOXTEL customers with FOXTEL iQ to remotely record content on their set top box at home via an Electronic Program Guide on their handset.
Telstra Mobile FOXTEL is available on more than 50 3G and Next G devices.
