Alcatel-Lucent disclosed that it had signed a framework agreement in China worth a total of 750 million euros ($1.1 billion), of which 60% was in new deals, a Reuters report said.
The deals are with China Mobile and China Unicom, the Reuters report said.
The solutions Alcatel-Lucent is to provide will enable China Mobile and China Unicom to expand the capacity and coverage of their mobile networks so that they can continue to meet the robust demand for mobile services in China, the report further said.
