Alcatel-Lucent wins bank deal in Thailand

Alcatel-Lucent announced that the Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise communications server has been selected by Siam City Bank (SCIB).

The new solution includes the deployment of IP telephony media gateways to replace the traditional key telephone systems across all of SCIB's 387 nationwide branches, linking them to its Bangkok-based headquarters.

SCIB customers will experience universal banking services across all its branches, while SCIB benefits from lower operating costs with an IP-based system.

Alcatel-Lucent is helping dynamic enterprises like Siam City Bank interconnect their networks, people, processes and knowledge for competitive advantage through strengthened relationships, simplified communications, and improved performance.
