Alltel Wireless, Convergys ink BSS solution deal

Convergys has signed a contract with Alltel Wireless for an end-to-end BSS solution to include service activation manager, customer service manager, rating and billing manager, real-time convergent charging solution and active mediation.

Convergys solutions, including the dynamic decisioning solution, will replace Alltel’s in-house legacy system.
 
The solutions mesh “perfectly” with Alltel’s customer-centric approach, enabling the provider to deploy streamlined and cost-effective BSS technologies and services to address the needs of its customers.
 
Convergys’ dynamic decisioning solution further enhances Alltel’s ability to drive customer loyalty and retention, enabling personalization and real-time, actionable, customer intelligence.
